Works by Friends (WBF) is an online gallery whose purpose is to support talented emerging artists, and offer collectors a curated selection of prints at an accessible price. WBF fosters a close partnership with the featured artists, with the intent of creating an intimate buying experience from a collective of friends. In addition to our online presence, WBF organizes gallery pop-ups to help artists and collectors meet, and to organically grow our community. With time, gallery pop-ups will show art from artists around the globe. WBF founder Miranda Lundberg was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. Growing up with an artist mother, Miranda has been surrounded by art for as long as she can remember. After working in the music industry in Stockholm, London, Paris, and Boston, Miranda established herself in NYC, working for a creative agency. Seeing artist friends struggle to support their painting practice, and the lack of good affordable art triggered the idea of Works by Friends: building an art community for friends, by friends, where everyone is benefiting.

All of WBF works are printed by local studios who's main concern is quality. Giclee printing is a digital fine art method that uses archival ink. By using archival paper (LexJet Premium Archival Paper, 230 GSM) together with archival ink we can make sure that your print will last for 150+ years. The art works are either professionally scanned or photographed depending on the nature of the work to produce the most accurate depiction of the original.
