Osmunda has joined ON CANAL to expand the message of re-wilding New York through initiating conversations around increasing sustainable practices that help the environment and the human race. The experience will transport viewers from the urban Canal streets into the lush greenery of their exhibition space, featuring upcoming collaborations with artists and mission-aligned groups. Experts panels on varying topics about sustainability will be brought together to have intimate conversations with the public. For Programming will be announced throughout the Osmunda ON CANAL partnership.
Osmunda is a experiential lab, exposition, and artist residency focused on reconnecting the thread between humanity and nature. By showcasing biophilic art, technology, workshops, and grassroots projects the event aims to activate New Yorkers to advocate for green space. Inspired by the dream of native royal ferns growing through the cracks in concrete sidewalks, Osmunda was started by the non-profit production team Future Clear, the social impact film organization Redefined Films, and Solar Creative. Osmunda aims to mobilize visitors to support various local impact organizations by increasing their accessibility and visibility.
